CONXTD Products FAQ

All our products work with CONXTD. CONXTD displays the data that we store in our servers. So as long as we are receiving SIA events from the systems and those events are in our host, you can sell the customer CONXTD.

If you have a WebWay installed, yes CONXTD will work with your panel. CONXTD works with all our panel integrations which support inputs or SIA protocol alarms. Contact ID will be supported later in the year. CONXTD also displays images from Avigilon, Axis, Brickcomm, HIK Vision and Vista camera systems. Yes. CONXTD servers access data from our Alarm Transmission System. How you connect the system in is irrelevant (IP single path, Radio single path or any of the dual path options).

Yes, CONXTD doesn’t care how the information is transmitted.

Yes, you can use CONXTD with any WebWay device. If you are using the Nano for just UDL, it will still have been sending any alarm events that the panel generates through to our platform. You can sell the customer CONXTD as a Self Monitoring solution, but remember to identify their risk profile, or upsell them to Professional Monitoring.

No. The CONXTD servers are separate to our core Alarm Transmission System. The CONXTD servers “talk” to the Alarm Transmission System, but if they fail they do not interrupt the core Professional Service.

No. We are just accessing data from the Alarm Transmission System. CONXTD just looks for the information and displays it in the App.

If you are installing a new WebWay, the customer will see all SIA events from the day you fit the system. So if you have fitted the hardware on Monday, but you don’t download the App until Friday, your customer can still search and see all the events back to Monday. If you are upgrading an existing customer (who already has a WebWay fitted), the customer can see up to a months history (from the date the installed the App). In short, the customer always has up to a months worth of data to view.

You buy CONXTD after you have commissioned a site. You will see the grey CONXTD logo beside your site in the Connections area of WebWay World. Click it and you will be taken through to the invitation process. When you invite a client, we create a billing record for you.

CONXTD is billed monthly. There are no longer term commitments.

No Imaging is a standard part of the CONXTD bundle. You will need to subscribe you WebWay to the Imaging function.
