Introducing Smart dual radio. A 100% wireless dual path signalling solution, the perfect upgrade for Grade 2 and 3 Radio/PSTN or Radio only installations. Dual radio is easy to install, eliminates the need for a PSTN line and telephone call charges for alarms. Remove the problems associated with shared and dedicated lines and VoIP. Connect to your panel via serial bus (RS485, RS232, TTL) for UDL and alarm signalling over both paths to your alarm receiving centre. Benefit from the standard WebWay features such as Smart Reporting, Network Monitoring and CONXTD.

Dual path signalling has been the cornerstone of Insurance companies and Police Response requirements for intrusion detection systems for the last 20 years. But installing and commissioning Dual Path Signalling can be difficult, especially where shared PSTN lines are concerned. WebWay Dual Radio removes the challenges and costs of installing Dual Path Signalling on the customers PSTN line.

The perfect upgrade for GPRS/PSTN or 3G/PSTN installations The Smart range is designed for the installer market with a lower initial upfront hardware cost, with higher on going. Using the Nano hardware you get full serial connection via RS485, RS232 or TTL compatible with our extensive panel integration library, along with 8 hardwire input pins, for maximum connectivity. The on board radio module uses an embedded roaming SIM, while a remote radio module connects via the 2nd RS485 connection allowing you to position it up to 50 metres away in the search for better signal. The remote module comes in its own tamper proof box, designed to be fit discreetly into any surrounding.

Using the Mini hardware you get an AUX header for a MCM module to be plugged on for connection to our MCM panel integration library, along with 2 hardwire input pins. The standard radio module is on board w while a remote radio module connects via the RS485 connection allowing you to position it up to 50 metres away in the search for better signal. The remote module comes in its own tamper proof box, designed to be fit discreetly into any surrounding.

Dual 3G can also be purchased as Communicator Pro or Mini with AUX plug on radio module. These devices are purchased at full cost, with lower on goings. Ask your account manager about these options.

For the first time we are supplying a tamper proof box to house remote modules. Making use of the RS485 bus for connection allows for up to 50 metres of CAT 5 cable to go between the WebWay and the remote module. This is perfect for Dual 3G as it give flexibility to the installer to take the 2nd radio module away from the main installation in seek of better signal strength. Complete with a hole for a status LED light, a tamper mechanism and a safety screw. The discrete box will blend in with its soundings, while the WebWay logo allows for easy identification.

Like all our products, the new Dual 3G devices are fully compatible with CONXTD, the social network for alarms. Simply install and commission the device, then add the CONXTD service to the site within your WebWay World Connections login. Allow the end user to view the data of their alarm system in a new way with icons and colours, along with event notifications.
